And I have,questioned, they're involvement, in requesting said, 'unwarranted' background checks.I am thankfull for your site, and for highlighting this email scam. please remember that those that do these dispicable scams, will change they're styles and approaches. So please, be on your guards, against these scammers. And wherever possible - if you have the skills, research who these scammers are, and shut them down. Becouse they cause, not only distress, and false accusation. These scams have codes embedded in them that lets the sender know if you've opened them. Many also have malware that automatically downloads into your OS the instant you open it. Best to delete UNOPENED.
What does it mean when they say their may have been 2 negative items added to your profile in the last 48 hrs that anyone can see? Just received one but I don't want to pay to find out. I haven't done anything bad or wrong lately.

These seem to come in droves. Won't see one for a few months then all of a sudden the spam box will have a 1/2 doz of them for weeks. Probably because I clicked on one once but never went to the site. Still creeps me out and glad there are sites like these that explain them.

I have gotten the "Bad Things Will Happen" email for four days now. Each time it is from someone different, and not always ICM. Microsoft suggested I send it to the FBI which I did. I got the same content email from Nicegreataliens.......THIS IS NUTTY!!!!

We also had a la carte chille relleno and twice baked potatoe. Nothing too crazy but needed something on the side besides just the entree. The chile relleno was different with a hard corn meal like crust with bean/corn mash textured filling. Was different but good. The twice baked potatoe was better than a normal one. Dessert we didnt really want but we had to do it just to do it! We had the churros which we were glad we ordered. Hot and cripsy on the outside and warm and gooey on the inside. To top it off it came with a chocolate sauce to dip the churros in. Overall this was a top notch resturaunt with top notch service. One thing my g/f pointed out that was over the top was the fact she was wearing a black dress, she was initially given a white napkin and then the waitress came back and swapped her napkin with a black one. Now thats paying attention to detail.

ReplyDeleteThese scams have codes embedded in them that lets the sender know if you've opened them. Many also have malware that automatically downloads into your OS the instant you open it. Best to delete UNOPENED.

That is the beginning of the link. I am NOT clicking but this is the first suspicious email that has made it through my junk filter in 5 years. I'm a little concerned as to what caused it.
I got it too, and also got an email from a long-lost ex-boyfriend who is a thief and lifestyle-convict. Aside from the alarm that he has not lost my email and that he still thinks of me (at least as a target),I also noticed a grammatical error in the subject line. It said, "Someone run a background check on you, View Results." It should be "ran," "has run," or "may have run." This glaring unprofessionality alerted me to smell a rat.

We also had a la carte chille relleno and twice baked potatoe. Nothing too crazy but needed something on the side besides just the entree. The chile relleno was different with a hard corn meal like crust with bean/corn mash textured filling. Was different but good. The twice baked potatoe was better than a normal one. Dessert we didnt really want but we had to do it just to do it! We had the churros which we were glad we ordered. Hot and cripsy on the outside and warm and gooey on the inside. To top it off it came with a chocolate sauce to dip the churros in. Overall this was a top notch resturaunt with top notch service. One thing my g/f pointed out that was over the top was the fact she was wearing a black dress, she was initially given a white napkin and then the waitress came back and swapped her napkin with a black one. Now thats paying attention to detail.
