Broken email has been restored and re-sent to you‏

Google technical support email scam - easier to spot when you aren't using gmail... "broken emails have been restored to you" says it's from douglas@colingordon.com, which doesn't exactly look like gmail, or google.

  1. I got one also on 11-5-14 from guksp@kongsberg.com.
I agree, it doesn't exactly look like gmail, or google.

  2. I too just found this email in my spam box. It's from a different email sender, but looks exactly like the photo you posted.
Thanks for putting this out there, I had already deleted it before Googling, otherwise I would post the addy for future reference.

  7. I get these almost every day sometimes two or three. I sent one to Google but it's a rather long winded business so now I forward them to Action Fraud

  13. I got two today in my spam account. (gmail account) Just deleted them. I always have my security and malware from Webroot and malwarebytes on and up to date. I got hacked last summer with ramson ware and ended up having to get a new computer. Malware is the worst. Be careful!

  14. Bad grammar is always a flag, and probably why it was sent to the junk folder ;)
